At XDEV, everything revolves around software development, Java and open source. But as a "helper-friendly company" (we reported), the commitment to volunteer work and non-profit projects and organizations is also part of the core of our company.

So it is not surprising that the XDEV team includes several active firefighters and paramedics. Timo, Giuseppe, Christian and Daniel (the last one is even an EMT) now get even more reinforcement. Because now our Susanne has also successfully completed the training as a paramedic (Sanitäter AB in German). Great!

She was inspired not only by her colleagues, but also by her son, who is a Red Cross volunteer himself. How cool is that? We are really proud to have such dedicated employees in our team.
