JavaLand 2022 is just around the corner!
This year the conference, which is all about Java, will take place from March 15 to 17 – finally face to face again and of course at Phantasialand Brühl, Germany.
On the agenda are not only a lot of lectures by international speakers, but also workshops, an accompanying exhibition and, of course, the opportunity for networking and knowledge transfer in this unique amusement park atmosphere.
As always, the topics at JavaLand 2022 are diverse, but can be summarized under these keywords.
- Core Java and JVM technologies
- JVM languages
- Methodology & Culture
- Quality & Testing
- Cloud, Containers & Infrastructure
- Data & Streaming
- Frontend, Mobile & UX
XDEV, represented by our CEO Richard Fichtner, is also back in the mix.
His talk titled Apache Maven Survival Guide "Bring it on!"-Mode #no-external-tools is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15 starting at 3pm.
In many projects Apache Maven is used and it does something. In this talk, Richard will put the best practices from over 10 years into a pom.xml. Using those practical examples, he will show:
- how to solve problems in the build
- make the build reproducible
- find security holes in the code
- find security holes in the build
- make the legal department happy
- make the build faster
- reduces the cost of the build
- emits less CO2
All of this can be done without commercial or additional products, respectively – just using Maven standard plug-ins.
Tickets are still available – including OnDemand tickets for one year of online access to JavaLand 2022 talks.
