Anyone entering the "Georgia" office is greeted by a photo of the state capital, Atlanta. While some may be puzzled at the sight of the horse in the middle of the deserted highway, series fans will of course immediately recognize the scene from the first episode of "The Walking Dead".

The plot – which revolves around a group of survivors of a zombie apocalypse – is initially set in the Atlanta metropolitan area, where the filming locations can also be found, and will come to its conclusion this year after 11 seasons. But no one would have thought it possible that the Atlanta highway would actually look so deserted in broad daylight in 2020, although it was caused by the coronavirus and not by a zombie apocalypse.
