From June 20 to 23, the Java conference JCON Europe 2023 took place at the Cinedom in Cologne. After a long period of virtual events, it was great to finally experience the event again as an in-person event as it was always intended. With attendees from over 60 countries and 5 continents, JCON Europe 2023 was a truly global event. XDEV, as a Gold Partner and co-organizer, was of course also represented with an entire delegation.
The conference offered attendees, some of whom had traveled from Brazil, Nicaragua and South Africa, a comprehensive program with over 120 top-notch speakers over the four days. From the basics to the latest developments and best practices, there was something for every Java developer to discover. The variety of talks and workshops once again made it clear how vibrant and innovative the Java community is.
In addition to new input from the Java world in the unique cinema atmosphere with a huge screen, the conference naturally also offered participants the opportunity to network. During the breaks and in the evening there were plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas with like-minded people and to make new contacts.
