A Date Range Picker is a control for calendars in graphical user interfaces and simplifies the entry of a specific date range.

This feature is often needed in business applications and the dates have to follow a certain logic and have to be dependent to each other (e.g. the start must not be after the end). Besides a free input, predefined periods (week, month, quarter, half-year, year) can be preselected.
