In many projects Apache Maven is used and it does something. In this talk, we put the best practices from over 10 years into a pom.xml. Using practical examples, we look at: *how to solve problems in the build *making the build reproducible *finding security holes in the code *making the legal department happy *making the build faster *reducing the cost of the build *emitting less CO2.
We do all this without any commercial or additional products – just using Maven standard plugins.
