At the beginning of August, our Richard Fichtner made his way to the Kansas City Developer Conference in America to represent XDEV as a guest speaker.

The topic of his talk was his "Apache Maven Survival Guide", in which he demonstrates how to make a Maven build (using only the standard plugins) fast and secure and why a "clean install" is not always the best choice.

Of course, Richard didn't miss the chance to visit some other sessions of the very well organized KCDC and to enjoy some tasty BBQ and good music with like-minded Java friends in town.
