On October 31, our office transformed into a proper gaming cave: the XDEV Halloween LAN Party 2025 was all about horror games, nerd culture, and good food.

Our IT team made sure everything ran smoothly with an independent and secure network — just what you’d expect from real pros. Then it was game on in our makeshift haunted house: the night kicked off with Abiotic Factor, followed by chaotic missions in Helldivers 2.

A few brave souls even showed up in costume — including a crew member straight out of Davy Jones’ ship (major props to Sophie for that amazing Pirates of the Caribbean makeup!). To keep everyone fueled, we ordered delicious pizza from Rud’s Pizza in Weiden – highly recommended! – along with plenty of snacks, also organized by Sophie.

Between clicking keyboards, laughter, and glowing pumpkins, one thing became clear again: XDEV isn’t just a software company – it’s where nerdiness thrives in its finest form – with passion, humor, and a big dose of team spirit. By midnight, the screens went dark, and the team left with that happy post-LAN glow only true gamers know. Thanks to all our colleagues for joining this Halloween gaming session!
